Registration and abstract submission are open for this event, which marks the end of the 12-year funding period of the NCCR and will bring together leading scientists from around the world, industry partners, and current and past members of the NCCR Bio-inspired Materials community to share and discuss the achievements and future of bio-inspired materials science.
The conference will feature keynote lectures from Thomas Speck (University of Freiburg), Ilja Voets (TU Eindhoven), Ulrich Wiesner (Cornell University), and Kerstin Blank (Johannes Kepler University), as well as additional invited talks, contributed talks selected among the submitted abstracts, and two poster sessions.

A limited number of travel grants are available to support the participation of PhD students and postdocs who are working in a low- or middle-income country, and who have an accepted abstract.
